The Genesis Program

The Genesis Program is located in a 10-bed home-like setting with both private and semi-private rooms.  Many Genesis program residents have graduated from the Churchill Program or the Windsor Program and are ready to work on higher-level daily living activities such as budgeting, planning, house management, cooking, and independence in the community.  Many Genesis program residents graduate and move home – thus completing the full continuum.  These individuals participate in a customized schedule of formal therapy, educational sessions, and activities to help realize their full rehabilitation potential, whether that is transitional or long-term.  The days at Genesis are filled with opportunities for independence in activities of daily living, with staff members providing helpful feedback to assist residents in mastering these skills.
